Description

Crème de Cacao is the perfect breakfast coffee.  It’s got buttery & chocolatety notes that remind one of a chocolate croissant.  This coffee comes from Peru, and also has the characteristic heavier body that Peruvian coffees tend to have.

Processing

This coffee is a washed process.  That means the farmers wash the coffee cherry off the bean with water before the drying process.  Washed processes have a clean finish without the linger.  They also tend towards the chocolatey notes of Crème de Cacao.

Roast Level

Crème de Cacao is a City Roast.  We pull our City Roasts from the roaster just as the bean turns a chocolatey color.  At this stage, the coffee’s authentic flavors shine without any smokiness or oil.  This Peruvian coffee is on the light side of medium where the sweetness comes through.  This roast level balances baker’s chocolate with buttery smoothness.

Traceability

Crème de Cacao is Fair Trade, meaning the farmers are paid fairly for their work.  Crème de Cacao also comes to us Certified Organic.

We will deliver orders from the Portland Metro Area within 1-3 business days free of charge.  You can also choose local pickup.  We will ship all other orders within 1-3 business days and provide tracking information via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail.  Free shipping is available for orders of $50 or more.
